While the Shreveport Writers Club does encourage writing in all forms and support the efforts of our members to create and expose their works to the public at large, it should be noted that as a not-for-profit organization, we cannot officially support or endorse any specific for-profit works. As such, we ask that you not use our name or resources in the marketing of your creations. It is perfectly ok to say, “I have a book published, message me for more information”, but we ask that you not post excerpts, synopses, links, etc. to your for-profit work on any of our webpages (blog, Facebook) as it could violate our status.
